Mahe’ is the largest of the islands it offers some of the most enriching experiences. Consisting of an area of 150 sq. km., several mountain ranges fun down the center of the island with the largest peak reaching to 905 meters.

There are many places in Mahe’ worth exploring simply rent a car or bicycle from the front desk and explore at your own leisure or opt for a fully guided tour.

In the North, explore Victoria the capital of the Seychelles one of the smallest capital cities in the world with its famous clock tower a miniature version of London’s Vauxhall Tower Bridge Clock. Tours can be customized to also include visits to the Botanical Gardens (with the famous coco-de-mer, trees, giant tortoises and orchids)

Your visit to the North of Mahe should not be complete without a visit to the protected marine park which can be viewed on a glass-bottom boat departing from Victoria. The park is sided by the islands of St Anne, Cerf, Long, Round and Moyenne and is home to hundreds of species of coral and tropical fish.

While in Victoria guests can visit the craft esplanade & Natural History museum. Market Street has its own flavor with is Creole style fish and produce market also take time to stop by some of the local art galleries en route.

To discover the true Seychelles is well worth taking time out of the beaten tract to explore the many nature walks. You will often find your self walking along well defined nature trails and mountain paths that cross the large granite rock formations that are so unique to the Seychelles. If time permits the second largest Island of the Seychelles Praslin, offers unique site seeing opportunities assessable by boat or air transfers with the option of an add on visit to La Digue, which is just a short thirty minutes from Praslin. Simply put its like stepping back in time with its principal means of transport being the ox-cart. The island still has old plantation houses and well as copra factories and vanilla plantations.
